| Introduction | I grew up with a brother and sister in a wonderful family in "Smalltown" Iowa. We were able to enjoy summers running barefoot with neighborhood friends, or visit at cousins' or Grandmas', or go to Okobji to help Mom and Dad part of the day with "fixing up" a cabin.. and then swim or wander around the amusement park. After graduating with lifetime friends from Paullina HS, I earned an engineering degree from SUI, worked with a consulting firm, married and had two talented sons. Later, became a single mom and got a teaching degree from PLU. Taught a bit, remarried and became a Boeing employee, while watching my boys grow into fine men...Plus gaining two lovely step-daughters. Our kids and their wonderful spouses have provided GRANDCHILDREN to our delight. Not only that, our neices and some of the nephews also have provided such cute, intelligent children too. Life is GOOD. |
