IntroductionI have been a fan of Easy Listening instrumentals since the mid 1980s. I remember the days when listening to the 'classical music' radio channel for my favourite instrumental was a tremendously inspiring event between 5 and 7 pm at the end of every workday. Then at the start of the workday, between 6 and 7 am, the same station would play the same format under the title 'AS DAWN AWAKES' to gently ease the audience into a brand new day. Those days are gone, but the music keeps getting better with releases on digital compact discs featuring LPs of orchestras and quartets I had never heard of. This blog is my way of sharing the art of easy listening. I'd welcome your comments either in English or Spanish! Hablo un poco Castellano. Email me at: orchestraljoy@yahoo.com.sg
