| Introduction | I have been climbing for almost a decade now, which is mind boggling to think about but true nonetheless. I am really motivated by aesthetic climbs that engage me on more than just a physical level. Climbing is a personal thing, internal rather than external. It is something that teaches me so much on so many levels. I find that the majority of lessons I have learned have been on traditional climbs, when establishing first ascents, and in traveling to climb and experience different places. At the moment I am climbing here in Newfoundland and spend a great deal of time attempting to repeat routes that will be personally significant and establish new lines that will continue to challenge. |
