| Introduction | In 2002, I retired after 37 years managing the Weleda, Inc, the US subsidiary of a small multi-national company making medicines and personal care products. These products were developed in accordance with the principles of Rudolf Steiner’s anthroposophy. My wife, Sophia Christine and I moved to beautiful Dingle/An Daingean in the south-west of Ireland. She is still involved in various projects (see link to her blog.) I wanted a complete change so I took up the concertina and renewed a long-term interest in harmonica so that I could play traditional Irish music in the pub sessions. I am studying to breathe new life into my long-forgotten Irish language that I learned where I grew up in Cork City. |
