Her bachelor’s degree, from the University of California, Irvine, is in biological sciences. A magna cum laude graduate, she also received numerous honors including fellowship in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She completed her post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine, received her board certification in Internal Medicine, and was appointed a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1998. |
