| Introduction | Ms. Jun Yang graduated from the Department of Piano at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in China and was an Assistant Professor there. After coming to the US as an exchange scholar in 1988, she got the MM(Master of Music) and DMA (Doctor of Music Arts) degrees in Piano Performance. Jun has given a series of concerts in China and the United States. Jun has taught piano over 20 years at preparatory and college levels. She has given group and private lessons for piano and music majors at the Tianjin Conservatory and West Virginia University. Her piano studio was founded in Northern Virginia in 1998. Many students won the national, state and region piano competitions. Alumnus of studio had been admitted by Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia and MIT. Ms. Jun Yang grew up and lived in a musical family. Her father was the past president of the Tianjin Conservatory and a professor of composition. One of her siblings is also a music major.
