Introduction	National Occupational Classification (NOC) 1121 is "Human Resources Specialist." My blog is focused on improving professional practice through discussion, so please comment freely.
Interests	History and related things. Queer studies, queerness in general. Creative writing (I try not to be one of those pretentious types, which probably means that I am).
Favorite Movies	Generally not a hollywood fan with a few classic/historical exceptions.
Favorite Music	Canadian indie stuff plus some electronica/noise. Always up for good old rock and roll of all varieties and genres.
Favorite Books	I like books in general, I'm not entirely sure where to start. I will say that ONE of my favourites is a short story collection by Guy Vanderhaege "Man Descending" which I come back to again and again. Also a big fan of the (deceased since 1983) Canadian Poet Alden Nowlan whom I think simply has not gotten his proper due.
