| Introduction | Maybe I'm the quintessential post-Baby Boom Gen-Xer, I don't know. What I do know is I am living my own little Under the Tuscan Sun every day. Anything is possible, and a lot of it happens on a daily basis. |
| Interests | thinking (especially on: media, culture, strategy, communication), writing, speaking, coaching, consulting, making a difference, travel, spas, food, music, sea kayaking, living, loving, learning... not necessarily in that order |
| Favorite movies | Beautiful cinematography gets me every time. Out of Africa might still be my favorite, colonial discourse and all. I'd love to hear recommendations for other beautiful movies. And ovies with songs you can't get out of your head... like Mamma Mia and Music & Lyrics. I'm a little horrified that I admitted that last one. |
| Favorite music | FACEvocalband, The Weepies, ETown, jazz, folk/rock, anything from the '80s |
| Favorite books | Natalie Goldberg's Long Quiet Highway. Marlena De Blasi's trilogy on moving to Italy. Frances Mayes. I like travel narratives and memoirs by women. Recently enjoyed Pam Houston's stories in Cowboys Are My Weakness. Love Gary Ferguson. Study with him if you can; he's a wonderful man and a brilliant writer. |
