| Introduction | As a child I loved to sketch and paint. I remember fondly the outdoor sketching class during the summer before 7th grade. It was not until the early 90s that I had any more instruction in art. The community education drawing classes reawakened my interest in art. I attended the first International Association of Pastel Societies in Denver and became hooked on pastels. I've never looked back. Now I teach pastels and work full-time in art.
