| Introduction | There is a small, but growing, group of neuroscientists that will tell you that our entire life span, personality, and decisions are a mere reflection of genetic predetermination and we actually have no say in the type of person that we are, what we say, or what we do. If that’s the case, my genetic code has made me too stubborn to admit it. The foundation of my beliefs as an individual rest on the concept of free will, choice.
