Introduction	It has been said, "To whom much is given, much is required." I feel that statement has been a driving force in my life. I was born in Richmond, Texas to Rev. Leroy and Patricia Hodge Sr. I accepted the Lord as my personal savior, and I was baptized at 5 years old. My life as a child was centered on church and sports. By the time I graduated from high school, I was offered a full athletic scholarship in football to Texas A&M University. I started at wide receiver for three years. During my junior year in 1999, I accepted my calling into the ministry to preach. Three months after I preached my first sermon I signed a free agent contract to play for the Detroit Lions. During the first pre-season game, I was injured and never played football again. After serving as an associate minister for ten years, the Director of the Youth Department and Director of the Christian Education Department, I was called as the Pastor of the church that I attended for 15 years, Prairie Grove Baptist Church a/k/a “theGrove”. I have been the Pastor since 2010. I am currently married to the former Trawlyn Houston and have three lovely children, Jaylon, J'Neise & Jakayla.
