| Introduction | Making musical dreams come true in lovely Las Vegas! I am a mom, wife, and oboist. An odd fit amongst showgirls, brass players, woodwind doublers, and stage entertainers of all types, I enjoy a busy career as an oboist playing EVERY type of music imaginable. I have been humbled to share the stage with the likes of Johnny Mathis, Bernadette Peters, Natalie Merchant, Jackie Evancho, and The Phantom of the Opera just to name a few. I LOVE to teach oboe. It is where I feel totally musically fulfilled on a daily basis. I have a large studio of extremely talented and fun students who make me proud every week. I originally designed this blog as an informative source for parents and students who need more information about the oboe. I grew up with non-musical "muggles" for parents, and completely understand that the magical world of oboe takes some deciphering and decoding at times! |
