Introduction	Our eldest daughter was born at 26 weeks weighing just 1lb 120z. That's when we first started rollercoaster living as she battled for survival. All was well until a year ago, when she had her first manic episode followed by a short period of psychosis. We've been in the care of the Early Intervention team over the year since then. Things were getting better but she's now had a second episode of pyschosis, this one worse than the first. We're are now slowly getting used to life with a teenager who is possibly bi-polar. Learning to navigate the choppy waters, stormy conditions and periods of calm as our family lives once again take a different path to the one expected.
