| Introduction | According to the Pew Research, I am a typical Post-Modernist; that is my political ideology does not really align completely with either the left or the right. Generally I am more conservative and even libertarian on financial issues, yet tend to side with the liberal perspective on social matters. Though I am not eligible to vote yet (though I will be next year when i officially become a citizen) I am still very active and knowledgeable about politics. However, the majority of my political knowledge is limited to the national level; I was very surprised at how low I scored on the General and Political Knowledge Texas Quizzes. I hope this class will help refine my political knowledge and educate me more on the government at the state level. |
