| Introduction | aspiring to keep a cool spirit about bad hair, willful children, an aging canine, one busy husband and bathing suit weather. I curse too much, get angry instead of sad, and slow down for squirrels even when it's raining and probably it was a pile of wet leaves anyway. Every day I seem to disappoint myself about something important and every night I try to make peace with that. Parenting has sullied my ego and yes, sometimes I miss the confidence of ignorance but wouldn't trade it for all the salted caramel latte cups left in my recycle bin. |
