| Introduction | Karen is a college student who got hooked on Harry Potter when she accidentally read Chamber of Secrets before Sorcerer's Stone in the summer of 1999 - the same summer she planned her first community service project. Almost ten years later, these passions have finally merged thanks to her role as Chapter Coordinator for the Harry Potter Alliance. In addition to her love of literature and social justice, Karen is a writer, actress, singer, and dancer. She loves almost every type of music and literature (except rap and graphic novels, respectively), although she's a little bit more selective when it comes to movies. She is a strong believer in the religion of Carolina Basketball (you may even spot some clips of her screaming on ESPN!), has the best friends ever, and is thrilled to be part of this project! |
