| Introduction | After graduating cum laude from Marshall University with a bachelor of science in biology, Joshua Grooms, DDS, earned a doctor of dental surgery at West Virginia University (WVU). While completing his dental studies, he contributed more than 100 hours of community service in the Morgantown area. Joshua Grooms, DDS, also served terms as treasurer and president of the WVU chapter of the American Student Dental Association and won the 2011 Academy of Craniofacial Pain Certificate of Excellence. Following dental school, Joshua Grooms, DDS, relocated to Tennessee and joined Aspen Dental. As an associate dentist, he provided a full range of dental services at four Tri-Cities region offices. He subsequently worked with Marquis Mobile Dental Services and delivered all facets of general dental care for underserved residents of assisted-living centers. On trips to nursing facilities throughout East Tennessee, he performed such services as oral cancer screenings, denture realignment, and oral pain alleviation for hospice patients. Since early 2015, Dr. Grooms has practiced general dentistry at ABC Family Dentistry, PLLC, in Greeneville, Tennessee. http://abcfamilysmiles.com/ |
