Introduction | I am told that I started drawing before I started walking, so it is no wonder that I find so much pleasure in painting. The smell of paint and ink has always been more pleasurable than the smell of any food, so it is not uncommon to find me with paint on my hands and/or face at anytime. My favorite mediums are oil and pastel. After putting art aside for several decades, I have returned to my first love and feel like Rip Van Winkle, and have awakened from a deep sleep. On November 1, 2008, I embraced the popular idea of a producing a painting a day. The rewards of such a commitment are unbelievable. You can’t figure out how to get paint off the brush in a particular way until you do it a 1000 times. I am having the best time of my life! |
