| Introduction | My parents were hippies. When I was little they grew a big vegetable garden in the backyard. A man came and ploughed the dirt with a horse-drawn plough. They planted everything, even corn. I started a recycling program at my junior high school. Planted trees at school in 9th grade. Ran a campaign in student council to make sure people turned the faucets off in the bathroom. I love farmer's markets, community supported agriculture and cooking. If I wasn't trying to make a movie, I'd plant a vegetable garden. |
