Introduction	Hey y’all! I’m Ashley and I’m now a sophomore at Tulane. You’ll notice I said “y’all” – I’m a Southern girl, born and raised right outside of Lafayette, LA (about two hours away from New Orleans). I’ve been blogging for a year now; I enjoy sharing stories of my life at Tulane as well as my love for the school and the city of New Orleans with you! The culture, people, traditions, and food here are unlike any other – I’m proud to count boiled crawfish as one of my favorite foods! My love for Louisiana was a key factor that made me choose Tulane; how could I leave an awesome place like this?! I’m a Communication major, and my schoolwork keeps me pretty busy, but I love going out with my friends, watching my favorite TV shows, playing flag football, and being involved on campus (Sigma Delta Tau, Undergraduate Student Government, Green Wave Ambassadors, Catholic Center, etc.). I also love movies and music, and I enjoy going to concerts and festivals. I hope you enjoy reading about my slice of life in New Orleans!
