| Introduction | I'm a retired middle school teacher who started my own multimedia production company. I originally started this blog about ABC's The Chew because I love to cook, love to travel and watch entirely too much TV, but it got cancelled because Mario Batali was a perv. No worries as I stopped blogging about The Chew in 2012 when I lost 50 pounds. Now the blog is about my lazy assed life playing video games, traveling, keeping my weight off by cooking healthful meals but still watching too much TV. Lest you think I’m a one dimensional couch potato, I’m also the adoptive single mom of a former nationally ranked distance runner, part-time model and full time healthy living advocate. Learning to cook healthfully for her was a critical part of her success and why tweaking recipes to make them healthier, easier and more affordable has helped me keep the weight off for good. |
