| Introduction | This is my blog. It is my tepid attempt to connect with the internet universe in a way more meaningful way than spending my precious time reading celebrity gossip on-line. Which, by the way, in an attempt to be more compassionate I am going to curtail. Me, me, me. I'm a married mother of 2 young children. My career aspirations have been greatly limited by my own paralyzing fear of success, but considering that obstacle, I am gainfully employeed. I have lived in Chicago since 1992 and have always taken full advantage of that fact. Since having kids there have been hushed discussions regarding the eventual (inevitable?) exodus to the suburbs but until we are no longer squeezing as much life out of the city as we can, or until one of our kids comes home from school with a cap in his ass, I think we will stay put. |
