Introduction	I'm completely against the American Party system as it is at this pont in time. I believe that the current system does nothing other than tear the country in two and gets very little done in Congress due to the split. That being said, I tend to favor the Conservative point of view, but keep an open mind in doing so. I don't have much formal experience in government other than being a registered voter. By taking this course, i hope to better understand the neccesity of the bi-partisan system.
