Introduction	Karen has been a business owner for over 20 years in the fields of marketing and education, and currently works at Development with Lookout Emergency Aid Society. Karen has enjoyed volunteering time, organizational skills and fundraising skills over the years, with roles ranging from Board of Directors trainer for the United Way, Organizing Committee for Western Canada Summer Games, and Children's Museum Board member. These roles led to positions such as President of the Abbotsford Symphony Orchestra Society, President of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce, President of the Rotary Club of Abbotsford-Matsqui, and Executive member of the Fraser Health Foundation's Campaign for Healthcare Excellence. Current volunteer activities include service on the BC Arts Council, Abbotsford Arts and Heritage Advisory Committee, Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors, and Sevenoaks Alliance Church, Community Action Team.
