| Introduction | I graduated from Ole Miss nursing school in May of 2010. 2 summers ago I worked in a medical clinic on the campus of African Bible College in Lilongwe, Malawi. Though it was an unforgettable summer and a life-changing experience, I felt as if God was directing me away from nursing and towards my love for cooking. As I finished out my last year of nursing school, I began to explore the culinary world. A friend of mine introduced me to The Natural Gourmet, a culinary school focused on health-supportive cooking and the exploration of the way that foods make you feel. After months of planning, I have moved to New York City and am attending The Natural Gourmet Culinary Institute. The twisted path by which I arrived here is a true testimony of God's abundant grace and paramount plan. |
