| Occupation | Teacher at OTHS! |
| Introduction | I've been teaching for 14 years, and I'm in my third year here at OTHS. I've taught a variety of subjects from grades 7-12, and here at OTHS, I am currently teaching English as a Second Language, French and German. When I'm at not in the classroom, I can be found in the Moderns workroom (room 206). I'm also one of the "coaches" of our School Reach teams--not that they really need a coach-- both the intermediates and seniors achieved amazing results last year, including a trip to the Provincials for our Seniors! I love travelling with students. For the past 2 years here at OT, I have organized the grade 9 French trip to St-Donat, Quebec. Check out some of the photos on this site! The Moderns Department looks forward to continuing this trip again! I'm also very involved with the CEEF exchange program. Last fall, we had several students at OT from Belgium and France, and in the spring, many of our students studied in Europe. This year again, we have several European exchange students. I did the exact same exchange when I was in high school (to Germany), and it was incredible-- that's why I'm so passionate about this program! |
