| Introduction | I'm a 70 yo man, widowed within the last three years. I was married to my HS sweetheart for 49 years and 4 months. I have struggled with depression but feel much better as a result of many road trips in the past 2-1/2 years. I know that I am near the end of my life but I am not ready to just give up and die. I have been swimming regularly (three days a week) for the past 2-1/2 years and am currently swimming a mile and a half per session. I plan to continue doing what I enjoy for as long as I am able. I hope to be able to travel and live on my own for awhile yet and to enjoy a few more beautiful sunsets.I have a wonderful supportive family which includes my two sons who have always been pleasing in my eyes and their wonderful wives and the apple of my eye, my sweet grandaughter, Eliza Grace. |
