| Interests | My life is defined by communications. I studied it at Boston University and have worked in the field my entire life. I have learned that language is powerful. Proverbs 25:11 tells us that a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. Words can inform our mind, caress and comfort our feelings, excite and thrill our spirit, or warm and kindle the flame of our hearts. They can also slap our face, punch us in the stomach, rattle our nerves, kill our desire, or destroy our self-confidence. How we wield them in our professional and personal lives is of the utmost importance which is why I have been a student of the English language my whole life. I am a writer at heart. I have written for businesses and for myself. I have written press releases and short stories. I also have three daughters who all know what a predicate adjective is and why it is worth it to spend a half hour coming up with a 50 cent word versus just plugging in a 10 cent one.
