| Introduction | After years in marketing/sales and having my own business, I decided to put my love of writing to work! I wanted to be able to work from anywhere in the world, using the beautiful and different landscapes and cultures as inspiration for my characters and storylines. Every writer hopes that their words will touch the hearts of their readers. For me, a chance comment at my brother's funeral, made me re-evaluate what I wanted to do with my life. After writing and delivering my brother's eulogy, people commented how touched they were by my words. I was not however prepared for what they asked me next! Several people asked me to write their eulogies so that they could approve them and leave them for their families. This was not something I would consider, but it made me realize the power of the written word. I have been writing since I was a child, but now the stories that are running around in my head began to take on new meaning. I started to write them down but this time with a purpose. |

Fame is simply the delightful and somewhat daunting result of the journey. Remember the hard work, the long hours and the caring people who believe in you. That will help keep you grounded enough to enjoy the benefits.
