| Introduction | I live in Ballarat, Victoria with my husband , two boys, two dogs, one cat, five chooks and a fish. I really enjoy my work as a string teacher at Ballarat Grammar, but am never really happy unless I'm creating something. I have had a go at most crafts (patchwork, folk art, decoupage, leadlighting, beading.....),but patchwork and quilting are my main passions. I don't have a lot to show for all my hours work at home because what I make generally goes to someone else as a gift. The thing I love about making something for someone else, is that I think about the person while I am creating. On occasions, it has been difficult to pass on a gift, as I feel as though it has become a part of me. I'm sure that many others feel this way too! |
