| Introduction | I am the mom to two awesome tweens. I'm learning to laugh more, play harder, believe more consistently, all the while keeping a positive outlook, real smile on my face and patience in my walk. My background is in counseling, early childhood education and family. Often described as wise beyond my years. I love seeing people rise above their circumstances. A few lessons I've learned on my journey: road trips are about the journey not the destination... children are the real teachers not the parents... its not what you start its what you finish that counts.... the argument is never truly worth the fight. forgiving takes up less space and time than trying to remember what you were mad about.... remain the same YOU in public that you are in private, even if others don’t approve! after all....you don’t want to look in the mirror and not recognize or like the one looking back at you.... some things, people, and events are best left in the past. stop digging up your past. It may not feel like it now, but soon, we will all laugh about this. |
