Introduction	Hi Y'all! I am Diane and I grew up in South West Texas. Learning to sew in 4-H Clubs and even winning a few awards, then on to take Home Economics in High School, when you were taught to make bound button-holes and wool suits, fully lined! I digress, to get me here - a friend, Starlyn started a group of young ladies from church to sew and how to string quilts, and I was able to join! What fun! Not only the group but the quilting! Starlyn continued helping us all in our struggles and triumphs. Starlyn was working at a local quilt store and a group of Ladies meet on Friday nights to Sit & Sew. Long story - short: The shop closed., The group did not and now we are a combined group of fun loving quilting, knitting, crocheting...and appliqueing and needle working, did I say fun-loving and loving to learn new ways to make it better faster and then show it off! So that is what this blog will be about. I entitled this Profile: About Us - It was suggested a blog was needed to show our talents. So I hope to get a little more information from the other Ladies.
Interests	Sewing, quilting, crochet, reading, singing (mostly with the radio and in church), and taking care of family and friends.
Favorite movies	Basically good musicals!
Favorite music	Acappella gospel, and a variety of most music.
Favorite books	Autobiographies and biographies of people who had it tough, but made it!
