| Introduction | The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) was formed in 1977, in Brazil by Edir Macedo. His passion was to reach out to needy, less privileged people who were often excluded by established religions. The UCKG is currently in 176 countries and is still expanding. Ten (10) years ago the doors of the Universal Church were opened here in Nigeria with one purpose and one purpose only – setting the captives free and leading people to an encounter with God, which will enable them to experience the abundant life that He promised. |
