| Introduction | As many people already know, I officially retired from full time work in Feb. of 2009. It's been an adventurous experience transitioning from "mostly working fulltime" to "mostly retired!" After a grand send-off, courtesy of Fr. Bob and the parishioners of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Parish, I have been having a great time doing many of the things I wished I had time for while working the past 35 years. I especially enjoy spending more time at home and with our six grandchildren! The past year has been a time of joy as well as a time of adjustment ... for both Clarence and I. God continues to bless us in so many ways, but especially with good health (at least for the most part). I plan to continue to work in the church office one day a week, and as a volunteer on various committees and for various organizations. I look forward to whatever God has in store for me for the future and hope to be open to wherever the journey of life leads me. |
