| Introduction | Mysti Dean is a graduate of San Diego State University where she majored in Communication with an emphasis in Creative Writing. After receiving her BA, she relocated to New England to write for the Weekly newspaper located in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY. Mysti was then recruited to work for Deutsch in Manhattan, a billion dollar ad agency headed by media mogul and CNBC TV personality, Donny Deutsch. Mysti has since been a lead copywriter for major brands like: Perrier, Bacardi, Arrowhead Water, Salem Cigarettes, GiftCertificates.com, and many others. Mysti is also a former student of the renowned School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and NYU’s Creative Writing program where she received one-on-one tutelage by best-selling writers/ coaches of NYU and the esteemed Iowa Writer’s Workshop. During the decline of business commerce following the 9/11 tragedy, Mysti worked as a Celebrity Assistant to Hollywood actress, Gina Gershon. Mysti also became a public figure in the NY nightlife scene as she headed Clubplanet.com, an award-winning nightlife site. In addition to this, Mysti was a member of the New York female DJ duo, the “Moxie Dolls”. |
