| Introduction | I am a solid liberal through and through. I've lived in different cities throughout Texas, although primarily Austin, but the political influences of my surroundings and family haven't affected my personal feelings very much. As a a relatively young voter, I haven't gotten involved in as much I would like, and have only voted in the presidential primary and election, but I would very much like to understand where else I could make my votes count. I hope that what I learn in this class will help me achieve that goal. I did very well on the civic literacy quiz, most likely because I have taken Amerian history classes fairly recently, and I got a 9/12 on the current events quiz. |
