| Introduction | Jalu has delivered more than 250 hours of training for teachers since 2006 and has focused his teaching in the pedagogical aspects and teacher professionalism. He used to be a primary and secondary teacher for 5 years. Graduated in social science, Jalu received certified summer course of secondary educator training from University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, USA in 2005, a program sponsored by the US government. As an alumnus, he establishes an alumni teacher association to network with other alumni to assist teachers improve their professionalism during 2006-2007 in Makassar, Surabaya and Jakarta. He has traveled to many provinces in Indonesia as well as KL, Singapore and Manila to participate in workshops and conferences for educators. |
