| Introduction | I'm an amateur photographer, experienced traveller, and freelance walker. On this last point, if you’ve seen Monty Python you’ll know what I mean. You too can have fun walking to work by giving into your inner Monty Python and letting those non-Monty Pythonites know how much fun walking to work can be. Okay, maybe not on the way to work, but clearly on your way home. So here’s a bit about me: I began walking when I was two largely because I had a twin brother who I wanted to get away from every time he cried, and man did he cry, never stopped, which meant I learned to walk early and often. And I never stopped enjoying it. See, when you walk you notice places and see things that cause your mind to wonder, for example, why is there a neon-red Superman and a neon-yellow Batman sign in the window of a store that doesn’t sell comics. See walking makes you wonder. It’s also universal. I know this because I’ve meandered along some well-known boulevards, wandered through some city squares, and strolled down some side streets. So, with that, I hope you enjoy my observations and photographs of my walking journey. |

The wicked backspin caught you off guard. How will you play it off without losing your footing?
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
