| Introduction | Dan is a third-year law student at The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. He moved in 2008 from Columbus, Ohio, where he was an indie rock musician, real estate professional, and notorious public runner. He is hoping to retain tight connections with his family and scores of good friends back in Ohio, and is currently pondering that state's pesky and persistent issues with brain drain. He earned an M.A. in philosophy (ethics, metaethics) from The Ohio State University in 2003. He has five brothers and sisters, about thirty cousins, two cats, and an aversion to third-person descriptions of himself. |
