| Introduction | I am an Indian Expressionist painter who has been living in Singapore since the past two years. In May 2013, I started a company, Oormila Creative Studio, to market my works. I sell my art to collectors worldwide. I paint out of a studio space that I set up in my home on Thomson Road. The new series that I am working on is based on Singapore- the places and scenes that inspire me in this beautiful country. I am fond of playing the piano and am also a bit of a cartoonist/writer. I am a big fan of DIY videos on the Internet- it is from there that I taught myself dressmaking and theme cake sculpting ( two things I do to relax). I have two great kids and a very supportive husband who is the pillar of strength for all my passions. This blog showcases the art that I have made after moving to Singapore. |
