Gender Male
Occupation Pastor
Location Knoxville, Tennessee, United States
Interests I love God (by whose grace I live and have been given all that I have). I love my wife and kids. In a much less significant way, I enjoy books, football, Red Sox baseball, fishing & hunting (and many other outdoor activities for which I have too little time to enjoy as I wish), good food (more than I should), working on my Wagoneer, and occasional vacations to the beach. I love our church. I pray that God will somehow use me to bring glory and people to himself, and will give me the grace to love him more, pursue him more and surrender more to him. Recently my zeal has been rekindled in a prayer I've been praying for 20 years that God will bring sustainable spiritual transformation (some folks call this "revival" or "awakening") to my beloved hometown (Knoxville) that would result in thousands reborn and culture change; and the same in our region, nation, and world. Although it matters not to me where/how/with whom something like that might begin, I would love for our church to be a part of it. That's what I really desire on this side of Heaven.
Favorite Movies Luther, Remember the Titans, Amazing Grace (story of William Wilberforce), The Patriot, Rudy, The Man From Snowy River, The Mission, Braveheart, They Call Me Trinity, Gladiator, Silverado, Hang 'em High, The Princess Bride
