| Introduction | My life took a dramatic change when I was 19 years old and my father died of the complications of lung cancer. I was very angry at God and we had it out! Guess what?...He won. I asked him to show me himself (because I was holding on to the last strand of rope); was fed-up and weary. I developed a thirst to read the bible at that time. After seven years of this...I came to know him more and more and he showed me himself just like I had asked. He also showed me his son Jesus and taught me (through his living word) that I indeed had purpose and meaning in this life. For the first time I had purpose deep inside and was "born over again". This time not in the physical meaning but in the spiritual context. My soul (mind,emotions,will)was rejuvinated and my spirit-man came alive. I was originally worried about giving up fun-things in my life but in reality (in Jesus) I found my life. I have a joy in living in the good seasons and the difficult ones. I now live an abundant life of 56 years... |
