| Introduction | Hi! I’m Madiha, a rising senior at Alliance Academy for Innovation and the founder of Heart2Heart with Madiha, a platform dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular health through education, research, and community service. My passion for heart health stems from the alarming statistics surrounding cardiovascular disease—it remains the leading cause of death worldwide, yet many cases are preventable with proper awareness and lifestyle changes. I also lead rural educational workshops across Georgia, where I teach underserved communities about heart health and distribute informative pamphlets in both English and Spanish. Beyond my advocacy, I have traveled to 11 countries across four continents, interviewing people about the impact of cultural traditions, socioeconomic status, and healthcare policies on cardiovascular health. These experiences shape my approach to public health education, ensuring that my work is inclusive, research-driven, and globally informed. Through Heart2Heart with Madiha, I aim to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to take control of their heart health—because every heartbeat matters. |
