Introduction Helen Williams (nee Huggins) is a Lecturer in Politics at the University of Nottingham, where she specialises in British and German immigration and citizenship policies. Prior to her current post, she was a visiting lecturer at the Institute for German Studies/Political Science and International Studies, University of Birmingham (UK), where she completed her PhD in British and German naturalisation policy change. Her current research develops these findings further by exploring the discourse of immigration, integration, citizenship and multiculturalism in a comparative context. She tweets as @drhmwilliams.
