Introduction	My name is Liz. I suffer from bi-polar two disorder, which is a mental illness. Poetry is my outlet when I am in the clutches of my illness. Being able to articulate how I am feeling, when I am feeling it helps lessen the load I carry. My hope is to help educate others, to help them understand that a mental illness is a true illness that affects the way one thinks and feels. There are so many people who suffer from some form of mental illness, and I hope to be a voice for others when they can't find the strength to speak for themselves.
