| Introduction | I have been focused on school reform initiatives for over 30 years. I am currently the Superintendent for the Dobbs Ferry Union Free School District in Dobbs Ferry, New York. The district is composed of the Dobbs Ferry High, Middle School and Springhurst Elementary School, with a total population of 1,362 students. Among Westchester high schools, Dobbs Ferry was the first in the county to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. In addition, I have been a teacher and administrator in both regular and special education, as well an adjunct professor at the university level. |
