About me

Location London, United Kingdom
Introduction The Forum initially started its work in December 1997 with the intention of promoting research culture and activities among doctoral candidates in one of the British universities in London. The Research Forum now intends to restructure its activities and increase its efficiency, professionalism and reach. Its current objectives are as follows: 1. To provide the participants with an international environment for exchange of ideas and collaboration. It is different from other academic and professional organisations in the sense that it seeks to promote a genuinely cordial, humane, non-competitive and supportive forum for its members. 2. To create an internet site in order to reach a broader section of the public. 3. To introduce a membership fee to cover the costs of the running of the Forum. 4. To provide users with self-taught courses and reading lists on a variety of social sciences related topics. 5. To Develop joint research interests and collaboration. 6. Finally, to organise summer schools and intellectual group trips.
