Introduction	I am, in a word, unique. Eccentric might be nearer the mark. I was alternative long before it was popular, and in fact friends have referred to me as a Rennie-Hippie-Goth. I am an English major and I adore the written word above all else. Books and creative writing are my dearest loves. Along with being a writer and a bibliophile, I am an amateur mythologist, an ecological conservationist, a devoted aficionado of live theater and dance, a techie, and a proud purveyor of random insanity. My personality is a study in contradictions. I am mature yet playful, old-fashioned yet free-thinking, wild yet refined, and intellectual yet artistic. One moment you may find me discussing philosophy and ancient history, and the next you may find that I've replaced every number on your speed dial with the Psychiatric Hotline. I tend to drive most people a little crazy, but thankfully some of them love me anyway. To quote Marylin Monroe: "If you can't handle me at my worst, you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."
