| Introduction | I am a silly birdie who struggles to make decent pie dough, finds solace in sticky-toffee pudding, and continually wonders what makes food good. I also have a rather curious fondness for seed pods, ribbons, and squishy, woolie animals. ------- I have grown and changed since this time, and have fled this place partially in order to grow and partially out of shame and fear. I am Emily, which also means I care about the kindred things in life. This is my journey out of shame--a lifelong journey. I am changing, and I will continue to change. Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
What if you had no neck? Would you still be able to wear a scarf? Some birds wear scarves because they have necks, and other birds do not wear scarves because they have necks. Do birds without necks wear scarves?
