| Introduction | I was born in the early 80s in San Antonio. I've had an interest in submarines since about age four when we toured the U-505 in Chicago. About that time I found out that one of my grandfathers served on an old S class diesel boat during WWII and then later on a Balao class. As for me, I presently serve in the Pacific NW. I'm also looking forward to returning to KB for my 2nd sea tour on an SSGN some time late next year. I'm also closing in on a Bachelors in Systems Engineering. I'm shooting for May 2011 as a graduation date. As usual, we'll just see what happens next. New Update: Winter 2011, I graduated last May...not like it matters. We'll just see how it looks when I stand my first Chief's board. I'm back in Kings Bay and assigned to one of two SSGNs here. I just finished some NEC which concentrates on Missile trajectory, and something further regarding security and maintenance. I'd like to say more but that would buy me a rather serious spanking according to NNPI and OPSEC. |
